Wondering what's going on at Dwelling Literary today? Look no further!
Dwelling Literary follows a monthly schedule. It's as simple as seeing what day of the month it is on this handy-dandy list!
1st of the month- A new dwelling (issue) is published and will remain live on the site for the remainder of the month
14th of the month- DM Door Contest: Monthly on the 14th we hold a competition through the DMs on our Twitter account to kick off each submission call. Follow us @dwellinglit to get in on the fun. Submissions to the contest must be "mini forms": a poem that is 14 lines or less or a microfiction piece that is 140 words or less. The winner will be published at the door of the specified upcoming dwelling. A special honor! A maximum of three selected runners-up will be published in windows of the specified forthcoming dwelling. You may submit to the DM Door Contest AND the open submission call the day following the DM Door Contest.
15th of the month- New submission window opens! Didn't place in the DM Door Contest? This is another shot at having your piece featured in that particular dwelling! Note: Dwelling Literary closes submissions as soon as there are a total of 14 pieces selected for the issue.
24th of the month: Theme announcement day! Find out about an upcoming Dwelling Literary theme. Because our submission windows go very fast we announce themes well ahead of time to allow everyone the opportunity to prepare a submission for forthcoming sub windows.
